Bourbon raffle is a joke. Pricing are higher than secondary market prices online. 3-10x MSRP. Absolutely insulting to any bourbon enthusiast. Walked in to register for raffle and was told $200 for Weller special reserve. $269.99 for Stagg, $200 for EH Taylor small batch, $899 for old rip van winkle 10 year which they’re telling people is pappy van winkle, which is it not. They posted that I wa given incorrect pricing and lowered a couple like Blantons to $90, eh Taylor to 99, and Weller like 100 or something which is still crazy. I’d quote exact pricing but they delete the post on facebook when people started calling out the ridiculousness. They call Weller special reserve “Weller wheated.” All Weller is wheated.
