Excellent walk by the river. The are 3 different parks near each other. This one is closest to the shore. The trail does go alongside the water and loop all almost 3.2 miles if I'm not mistaken. It's mostly a trail parallel to the sea, if you like walking/strolling/biking.

On a Sunday evening, not too many people walking. And it was definitely cooler. It's an asphalt path, with good surface for biking. When we landed there, parking was tight, and we had to improvise.

Very limited parking on the weekends even in winter. In the summer? Fugettabout it. Moderate to challenging hiking trails, but the Hudson River views are nice in the winter when leaves are down. The shore trail is gravel and easy. Did a 5-mile hike on New Year's Day. Cold but enjoyable. In season, parking fee has to be paid....
