I just purchased a house in this area. I had an unfortunate plumbing catastrophe that needed to be fixed immediately because I had to shut the water off for the whole house.

I took a bunch of pictures went to Kelly's for the first time ever. In the plumping section the gentleman saw that I was obviously confused so he asked me if I needed help (a rarity nowadays). I explained my situation showed him a few pictures, he started grabbing things off the shelf handing them to me and instructing me what to do with each one.

When I got home I followed his instructions and had exactly everything that I needed to fix it in about an hour. I have never done plumbing in my life. This guy saved my butt and my wallet.

That's customer service done right and because of that moment I have gone to Kelly's for everything that I can while working on my house.

If I happen to catch that guy's name next time I'll update this. But thank you for your customer service and making what I thought was a catastrophe an easy fix and an excellent learning experience. I've since done even more plumbing including relocating my washer and dryer to a completely different floor of the house. Something I thought I was going to have to pay someone for.

I rarely write reviews, but felt one was warranted. I'm outfitting a new vacation home and needed 2 necessary but big ticket items...a grill and a chainsaw. I visited a similar store about 40 minutes away and they did not have what I was looking for. I decided to check out Cobleskill as I had been there for small things in the past and I am glad I did. They had a nice selection of grills including the model I wanted. They offered free assembly which saved me 2-3 hours easily. I took a floor model and two kind gentlemen loaded it into my truck.

After that, I went next door to the power equipment section. I had a rough idea as to what chainsaw I wanted and the staff there made my final decision. They outfitted me quickly, made sure the saw worked, gave me some advice and off I went with my new grill and Stihl saw.

I would give this place 10 stars if I could. The employees are actually helpful and knowledgeable. Every time I've gone in for something and had to ask for advice, the staff are able to answer it without any problems. Anytime I've had to ask if they carry a product, or where that product is, they've gotten me to either the specific isle or specific shelf that product is on. They're extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry as well. It's a few dollars more for the same thing vs the big box stores, but the ability of the people there actually being able to help is worth the extra cost...
