My fiancé and I had gone to a few of the big named jewelry stores to get an idea of what was out there. We always came out not finding anything we loved and felt pressured and pushed around. He ended up at Philip’s and picked out a stone that I swear sparkles in the dark. I was picky about the things I didn’t want and together they put together a beauty. It was a half size too big so I went in to have it sized. Philip did it right on the spot while Karen chatted with me about the proposal and future wedding plans. This small business makes you feel comfortable and at home - like family. I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful ring. On my way out they told me to please come back whenever to have it cleaned. So- went to Philip Alexander Jewelers for (another) repair. My Sister is a loyal customer- I made her come with me even though she said no at first 🤣. I have never purchased a piece of jewelry from them- like I mentioned, just cleanings, ring sizing & repairs. Philip, Eric & Karen are super friendly, knowledgeable, skilled & helpful. I have had for almost a decade a ring I’d like.. had No intension to make a purchase. Eric treated me like I was a “regular”- just chitchatting… not looking. And I Found (SAW) my ring! My soon-to-be fiancé and I went in to look at rings. The staff was amazing, especially Karen. She made the process fun and didn’t put any pressure on us. She helped us find the perfect vintage engagement ring, as well as a matching vintage band for me and even the perfect band for my partner, which matches mine! How cool is that?! She told us to make sure we shopped around to find what we wanted, but he and I knew we didn’t have to. We found our perfect rings. It felt magical.
