Jimays Flea Market — Local services in Town of Conklin

First time there this past weekend. We were there late so we didn't have to pay the small $1.00 fee. Vendors were closing up. We found a pack and play playpen and they said they had it for only 2 weeks. Had a price of $20 on it. They man took it out of the carry bag, took the mattress pad out from around it and it looked to be in good shape. They said they would take $10 for it so they wouldn't have to pack it up. We should have made them open up the whole thing because when we got it home and TRIED to set it up we found that the sides would not lock in. We got 2 sides to lock in but could not get the others to lock in. Worked on the thing for over half an hour. Finally decided to take it down and couldn't get all the sides to unlock. All in all, not a good experience. Maybe they didn't open it up to find that it was defective. Moral of this post: make sure ANYTHING you buy from flea market works or does what it's suppose to BEFORE giving them...
