I have used Joe for decades. He used to answer his own calls, do his own work. Through the years I've purchased several appliances, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer. Well, my dishwasher I used twice and the electronics went out, still can't use it after I called them here.. that was a couple years ago. 2017 I purchased a SpeedQueen washer and dryer. I called them here in 2019 because I had to run the clothes in the dryer twice to get them dry... diagnosis was nothing was wrong. fast forward to today, 2024, scheduled two weeks ago for a service on the dryer. was told 10-6, waited all day without mowing lawn etc. set phone down to do dishes around 4:30 in the other room on the charger and didn't hear it ring. Called back within 20 minutes and was told they moved on and would have to reschedule. The lady was rather rude to me and hung up on me. Joe used to be good... but I haven't seen him in years. The guys who work with him are the ones that couldn't fix my dishwasher nor my dryer. Their service is nothing like it used to be and I can not recommend them any longer. I'm searching for another serviceman.
Edit to say: in response to Joe's answer: My phone's answering machine IS set up. That very day I had two voice messages left by friends. I even had one today. I don't think Bonnie or Mark tried to leave a message. And it was Bonnie who got sharp with me and I just refused to let her talk to me that way. So, temper tantrum? NO, just someone who's not going to stand for poor customer service. Also, "someone else to fix my appliances? " LOL, Joe or his team has not fixed them in years, they just come to collect a walk in fee and tell me there's no issue. So, an expensive dish washer bought brand new used twice, sits as a useless appliance. and I'll find someone competent to look at my dryer. Best...

First off, I got charged $139 for a 15 minute visit from one of Joe's service workers. My dryer was spinning, was warm, but wasn't drying clothes. "It's clogged", he said. He absolutely positively guaranteed that was my problem. He didn't even examine the dryer. I took his word for it, as I have had this issue in the distant past.
After disconnecting everything and checking all the vents, I found that was NOT the problem. Since this was a local business (I live in Bloomfield), I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt and I went in to talk to them. I went into the store, explained the situation, and was given 2 more things to try, before they sent another service man to my house.
I tried these 2 things, and neither of them worked. While I had the whole thing taken apart, I noticed that the fan/blower was no longer attached. I screwed it back in and my dryer worked again.
Once again, I went into the store to try and reasonably explain my dissatisfaction with this whole experience. I got the original service worker who came to my house. He gave me a disgusted look and said "How was I supposed to know that???". I then explained my situation to the woman at the front desk, made no demands, and asked that they do the right thing, as I had paid $139 for an incorrect 15 minute consultation and ended up fixing the dryer myself. She said she would discuss it with management and get back to me.
I waited a week, and at that point, I noticed my check had been cashed. I guess customer satisfaction (of a neighbor in fact) and return business are not important factors to Call Joe.
Please please please avoid Call...
Read moreThe good news is that our washer is finally fixed and working. After calling and getting scheduled our washer problem was diagnosed (week 1). The following week the repair man came back with the part to fix the washer and the pump was broken (week 2). He then came back the following week and did the repair (week 3). I asked if we should test it by running a load of laundry and he assured me that everything was completed and working. As soon as I tried to close the door I realized that the screws to the door lock mechanism were not attached so I had to take the metal ring off the cylinder and get the bolts back in. This took me another 45 minutes after he left our home. I called to let the office know and nothing was done about it.
The frustrating part about all of this, besides the 3 week time line, is that we never received a simple apology for the broken pump, never received an apology for the screws being left out, and they never acknowledged the mess that was left each time the technician came and went. Changing these parts of your customer service would have definitely improved my review for...
