My wife (Valerie) and I started looking for German Shepherd puppies a few weeks ago and we visited FurEver Friends and they had the absolute cutest Golden Lab puppy there and we ALMOST took the bait but we were leaving for Florida two weeks later (9/11/24) so we had to pass. We decided to make a call to see if they would by any chance have any German Shepherds coming in and we actually spoke with Bryanna who is the owner and she explained she did in fact have two males coming in (coincidence or just a master plan from Above?). Bryanna advised us the new puppies would be in on 9/11/24 and our best bet would be to call first thing Thursday morning from Florida to see them. Both of these German Shepherds were flawless and absolutely handsome. Bryanna explained they were both brothers and this was the second litter she had gotten from the breeder. Bryanna herself loves Shepherds and being a previous owner of several, knows what she is looking for in the lineage of these dogs I can assure you that!! Both of these dogs were extremely active and vocal with tails wagging like crazy! Their living conditions were perfect..clean, spacious and very well taken care of as my wife and I knew from our previous visits. One dog was a little bigger than the other and we made the decision that was the one we wanted. We explained to Bryanna we would not be back until late Saturday night (9/14/24) and requested if it would be possible to put a deposit down to hold the puppy until we were able to pick him up on Sunday morning. Bryanna agreed to it and the rest is history. We picked Maverick up this morning and he was bathed, brushed and ready to go! My wife and I can’t thank not only Bryanna but the entire staff at FurEver Friends for their hospitality, their friendliness and what they all do for so many pets on a daily basis. Not only can you purchase your FurEver friend but you can bring them back for grooming, training, boarding, snacks, food and a whole lot more!! You simply cannot go wrong!! Stop down today and ask for Emma who works inside the store and she’ll be more than happy to help you out! She helped out the first time Val and I visited and we spent time with the Golden Lab and she was there again today and to see the joy on her face when she realized it was Val and I picking up Maverick…she was just as happy and those are the kind of employees that work for Brianna. I strongly recommend FurEver Friends!!!!!! Thank you for our new puppy!!! We LOVE him!!! He already...
Read moreI’m a Veterinary Nurse of 11 years and am leaving a review by-proxy not just as a Veterinary Professional, but a friend who’s puppy is directly affected - a puppy that less than 24 hours after being “adopted” from this place has been diagnosed with PARVO virus and is in critical condition. When the new owner called to tell them about the puppy they refused to take responsibility, and even threatened with talks of a “lawyer”. Parvo virus is an extremely contagious and potentially life threatening virus to puppies and other non-vaccinated dogs, so I feel it only right to post this review for people that not only recently bought a puppy mill/ back yard bred dog from these people (no you do not pay those prices for a rescued dog, they are falsely advertising to people saying they are adopting when they in fact are paying for a designer bred mutt) - but also if your dog has been there for grooming/training/ daycare, it has potentially been exposed to this virus. The puppies were kept in rooms as per my understanding, but without the proper disinfecting protocols can live on surfaces for a very long time, so if daycare/grooming/boarded dogs were in this area, they were exposed. This reaction/lack of reaction to a sick puppy show they do not care about dogs or their people, but just about profit - I hope no one else is ever duped to purchase a puppy from this place. If you think your dog or puppy was here and potentially exposed or showing clinical signs of PARVO virus (lethargy, vomiting, diarrhea) please reach out to your veterinarian
**in response to the below comment HIPAA laws are a human medical record only law and I have owner permission to post this as they are my friends/my friends dog - a person dealing in true rescue and knows proper veterinary care would know that HIPAA does not apply to veterinary...

I came across this van at a street fair offering dogs for adoption. My boyfriend and I were interested in one of the puppies, but I immediately noticed small flies swarming around its paws. We decided to take a lap to discuss it, then returned ready to adopt.
When the staff pulled out the “vaccination paperwork,” it only listed two shots despite them verbally claiming the dogs were “fully vaccinated.” When I asked about the missing vaccines, the man who said he was the manager became very passive-aggressive and told me I had “too many questions.” The paperwork also had no identifying information to confirm it even belonged to that particular dog — no name, date of birth, microchip, or litter details.
When I pressed further, the manager said he had “other papers” that only he could see, but that what he gave me was “enough.” This felt very suspicious and unprofessional. Out of caution, we decided to walk away without adopting. Afterward, I looked up reviews and found that multiple people reported puppies from this organization testing positive for parvovirus and giardia.
To the “manager” who told me I had too many questions, I’m grateful my instincts told me to ask them. If you’re considering adopting from them, ask for full vaccination records, and proof of veterinary care before taking a dog home. Transparency and the puppies’ health should always come first.
Makes sense on why the van was still full at the end of the...
