I have been living in this area my whole life... I absolutely love the fact that they brought the most favorited foods closer to my home and I see the business is booming tremendously. However my biggest remark and concern that I have noticed is that, one, people are going to aggravated in waiting ... however this is a REST STOP, not a fast food joint. Two, I have noticed a young lady yelling at her elder co worker because she didnt completely understand the system, my thing is , give respect and you shall receive respect. I understand some may know the system like their life is depended on it, but please just breathe, relax and work together efficiently so thay way the people can learn. Mind you this has been open for no less than a week, I do not expect this to be a 1 2 3 and out , use the restroom , look around, stretch your legs, take a breather , relax from this fast paced minded world.... other than that I loved the food, the service overall was fantastic and just wished people had a little more kindness in there hearts and gestures towards...
Read moreWe have always dreaded this last stop before heading home as it was always the dirtiest rest stop we've ever seen. We usually drive by, but this time we had to stop. Pulling our rv, we stopped in the spot reserved for rv's and trucks. Before heading in, I stopped to take a few pics of the river below, to my disgust, just the other side of the fence, was filled with garbage and piss bottles and jugs from lazy truckers that cannot use the ample garbage bins around the complex. I almost hurled! Now...maybe because it's "over the fence" it's not the rest stops problem. But common sense with dictate it came from this side. I chose NOT to go inside, so I cannot speak to the newly redone building. But if the grounds are any indication, I'll passed on going in. We just drove through seven states and stopped many times at rest stops, and usually commented on how clean they were and appreciated the care given. There is no excuse for this. Take some pride in your facility! Enforce your littering laws, put up cameras, do something, and have someone...
Read moreA large, clean rest stop geared to tourists n truckers. Everything is over-priced here. 24-hour McDonald's that doesn't do the specials or coupons. A sit-down restaurant during the day. A gift shop with touristy trinkets n gum n pop. A stand-alone gourmet coffee n bake goods stand with a staff that can converse in other languages...the coffee is worth every penny! A collection of pamphlets n such for places to go n see n do n purchase.(Tour Niagara Falls on you own.) On the eastbound side there is a small dog walking area when it's not buried in snow...lol. An upgrade of an awning n wind barrier or such over the eastbound side parking lot stairs n ramp would be much appreciated. The wind-whipped rain n snow can be a bit harsh n slippery, especially to visitors. Overall, it's a convenient pit stop, but if you have the time, get off the 90 n eat local. There are great places near almost every exit. The Silver Creek exit takes you to the Seneca Nation, n a dozen of low-cost gas n cigarette places (no NYS taxes), n...
