Used them recently to install a new rack and pinion on my 2008 Ford Focus and what a nightmare: bellows on both sides of the rack where both twisted up like pretzels; neither new outer tie rod end was greased; heat shield was not reinstalled on the rack; and inline filter for steering fluid (required for warranty on new rack) was not installed because "technician" said "it was not necessary." Talked to Todd, the new owner/manager about the botched job and he gave me the typical used car salesman run around basically refusing to correct or refund my money for this completely botched job. If this isn't enough, seepage has begun where the "technician" reinstalled the high-pressure line to the rack, and we have discovered a strange new hole in the boot of the right side cv axle.
