This place has the Rixen Stamp of Approval 🏅! There is NO PLACE in WI that can do it better. Since Covid, when they got burned for a couple $2G next day delivery orders, they stopped shipping these delicious delights to us faithful's who have ventured out of state. I drove home from DC and made a point to stock up on Konop meat sticks, brats and summer sausage, in store! Store is tiny but mighty when it comes to selection. I was also fortunate enough to find their brats and meat sticks at Ridgeview Liquors(G.B.) in a freezer/fridge in the back. Please guys, never close.. IDK what I would do w/o you. I have taken my venison here for 20 plus years but I’ve been disappointed the last 2 years. A year ago we ordered the venison polish sausage because the previous year they were terrific. Then last year the casing was so tough they were hard to use. Then this past fall we decided to order more than normal on venison summer sausage. To my shock it ended up the same way. I recently bought 5 lb. of the famous wieners and found that they changed the casings to a much smaller around casing and also changed the grind to more of a smaller size. They always had the best wieners that I could find anywhere. These wieners taste different than the ones I used to get. They are hard to eat with that casing as tough as it is.
