Bought a tilt bed trailer a month ago, worked with Jerry everything went good until the next day when I showed up to pick up the trailer. At the time of purchase I also purchased a spare tire and holder, Jerry said they had one and would put it it on before I showed up in the morning. I showed up the next morning and everything was on like he said, I went to look at the spare and it was silver instead of black like the ones on the trailer, looking at the spare tire it was USED, tread was worn significantly. I purchased a NEW spare. Tom was out helping me hook the trailer and he didn’t know anything about it and we had to call Jerry, he said he was unaware it was used. He then told me they didn’t have any spares in stock and more would be coming in next week. Shady salesmanship. Jerry knew exactly what was going on, don’t try to pass a used tire off when you find out you don’t have any , if he was upfront about it I wouldn’t be writing this but he chose to try and send me off with a used tire if I didn’t notice. I Googled "trailer service close to me" and several options were returned. I scanned the closest ones and read about a couple of shops. Mueller's stood out to me for being in business for over 80 years so I hitched up my trailer and headed over. I was greeted by Tom Mueller who promptly diagnosed the issue and recommended a remedy. Tom sprinkled in a couple of jokes as well as some personal background on the history of his family's business. By the time I left it felt like Tom was an old friend. 2 days later he called and said the trailer was ready, faster than I had expected. Friendly and fast service, fair price, and a great overall experience.

*Update: I subsequently traded in my trailer for a smaller, aluminum utility trailer. Jerry gave me a fair price on the trade and offered a great price on the new one. I am a very satisfied customer!

Highly recommend Mueller's for trailers! And, they had a nice selection of used...

Worst customer service ever. Asked if I could get tires mounted and balanced. Repeatedly asked who sent me and where I was from. Even asked where I got the wheels from. Said they would do it, dropped tires off then was told they cant because the guys back hurts even though he was the one that said they would do it. Plus when told they cant do it, he was rotating tires on a customer's vehicle right next to me. They ended up doing it but didnt balance them, claimed they dont fit on the balancer, which I know they do. And all 4 wheels are now scratched to hell.
