Letchworth Pines — Local services in Town of Genesee Falls

Update, I am changing my rating to a 4 star due to the customer service by the owner. I will leave the post for review until I dine there again however I will state this the service from our table waitress was pleasant and the food was excellent tavern food.

Two things saved this from being a one star. The food was good tavern food at a reasonable price, and my waitress was pleasant. I see the owner reads these so I will be detailed in my report. My son wanted to get a bite to eat quickly since he had wrestled all day. So instead of driving close to home about 45 mins away, I chose to stop at a local tavern with a 4-star rating on Google. Here is where things went wrong. When we walked in the Tavern was about 80% full, and there seemed to be an ample amount of staff. I judge this because I put myself through college as a waiter/cook/night manager. As we stood in the doorway, I looked for a sign as to seat ourselves or wait. I waited since there was no sign and I wanted to exercise proper customer manners. We stood there for about 6 to 8 minutes, and I made eye contact with at least three waitresses. None of the wait staff took 10 seconds out of their walks by us to let us know to be seated. I know how to make eye contact with staff but none the less was ignored. So at this time I walked up to the bar waited a few minutes and the bartender asks me what I needed. I asked if we were to seat ourselves she said yes. So at this time I looked around the dining area and saw a 4 top being cleared. The rest of the tables were 6 to 8 tops so again I did not want to be rude and take up that space plus I knew if the waitress that just cleared the table, saw us walk over we would not be ignored. I was wrong again. She passed my table twice and did not say a word. This waitress apparently did not want to serve us. I figured since it was shortly after 6 PM, she was closing out her shift. As I watch this waitress walk over to the kitchen door and disappear behind a blind and after a few seconds had passed a panic looking waitress came walking over and introduce herself. She was ready to take our order, but since no one took 5 seconds just to say hi and to tell us the menus are at the end of the table my son, and I could only give our drink requests. Here is where I am willing to give a second star, this waitress knew something was up, not from my actions towards her but it was evident to me that the other waitress put her on notice that we were there a while. She took our order and was off. Food was in good time and hot, however the burger I ordered was not what I ordered. I told the waitress it was ok just due to the time. I guess if I was to rate the food I would say 3 stars only because the order was messed up. The service at my table 3 stars but my overall rating would be a 1 star. Customers must be greeted especially if they are being polite and waiting at the door. I was blown off, and that upset me. However, I was still polite, and the other waitress blows me off as well. Oh and this is what really gets me. As I said earlier I thought this waitress was going off at 6. I was wrong she took 3 more 5 plus tops after she passed us by. This tells me two things she didn't want to deal with just a small two top or my son, and I got the new waitress that could be pushed around either way, I was not happy. I will stop in again if my family is over in that area, to reevaluate this rating. I never want to give a local tavern, a bad grade...

Very disappointed. We stopped on a Sunday at 5 was told they would be right with us. And we waited and waited... No service, had to get menu's and drinks at the bar, had to go back to bar 20 mins later to order, to find out they don't have most the menu because they didn't have much food that's listed on there menu. So we made it simple and ordered cheeseburgers and fries to make it easy as we see no one but one table was get service. . Waited another hour for cheeseburgers and fries, we finally get them, they were burnt burgers and fries were cold. We asked 4 times for ketchup never got it and none on the table. It was horrible and we watched 4 full tables finally get up and leave without eating. The table of 4 got up and lefted after ordering pizza over the phone at a nearby pizza place and the table ont the other side got up after ordering 20 wings that never came. Poor service and bad food hours to get bad food and had to go back to bar to pay for it. Not got! . Not the Letchworth Pines I looked for to going to. Down hill and bad attitudes will keep people away.this is not the place I used to...

I'm going to start off by saying I've been here several times in the past and no issues. This past weekend was the complete opposite.

Walked in to a brick holding the door open, no music playing and absolutely no waitress to be seen for about 5,7 minutes. After the waitress/bartender brought us our drinks, we ordered our food and was informed they were out of French frys then no tomatoes. After the food was brought out I was then informed that they were also out of Hamburg buns so my burger was on a hotdog bun. My wife's beef on weck was bland and dry. I felt bad for the waitress/ bartender, but this was absolutely pathetic. Our bill came and she only "took off" our drinks which were a highnoon and a sprite, seriously? Pretty disappointed.
