Murray's Fools Distilling Company — Local services in Town of Glenville

Great creative cocktails! We are really into cocktails, especially ones that use ingredients that we would have a hard time obtaining or making ourselves. All the cocktails here use spirits they distill in-house and they add a nice twist of unique flavor. For example, they make aquavit and apple brandy! And use ingredients like walnut bitters, apple spice syrup, thyme honey, ginger liquor. All of these ingredients make for very unique drinks.

We got to meet the owners which were incredibly friendly and passionate about their spirits. They invited us to sample their selection. We decided to get the "Nordic Honey Bear" and the "Algoquin".

Murray's Fool is a GEM! Beautiful well tended grounds, cocktail area has comfortable seating, upstairs as well. Bright, clean, friendly, creative cocktails crafted with their quality liquors are made to perfection. Friday night pizza was homemade delicious! There is a grassy path through the woods which brings you to a small very good brewery. Several other trails explore the property. Currently work is being done on a gorgeous new patio area. Murray's Fool is impressive..You're not just a customer..you are a friend. Looking forward to a return visit on our next...

We had the happy accident of stumbling upon this gem on our way back from a family trip and we are so glad we decided to stop!

All of their distilled spirits are excellent, and we particulary enjoyed the apple brandy, the whiskey and the aquavit!
