I dropped off a set a BMW M3 wheels to be powder coated at the high cost of $600 believing his work would be top quality. We had discussed and agreed upon a single layer of silver that would be applied never discussing that an extra layer of clear would be added after that first color coat. “The silver coat has 80% clear in it already, we won’t need to use any extra clear coat”. When I went back after (six weeks) of waiting he had two of the nicer looking wheels in the sun almost as if to try to sell his bad work to me. I proceeded to walk in the building where the other two wheels were located. I immediately noticed in the darkness of the building that the quality of the finish was “extremely” orange peeled to the point of running my finger across it and feeling the imperfections in the finish. I took them home to sleep on it and the next day went to three different powder coat shops to ask their opinion of his work in which all replied, “The finish is bad” “I would have redone them with that outcome” “You should ask for a refund” “Why didn’t you just use me again”. I reached back out to Iron Whisky and his response was if you want them redone you will have to pay another $400. Thinking about myself in his position I wouldn’t have tried to hide an obvious low quality outcome and I would have corrected my work as quality buisness should. At the least work a deal out with me instead of just take $600 for I did it in my house oven type results. I would suggest using NEW Powder Coating about three minutes down the road from Iron Whisky’s shop. He does work for motion products so you know it’s top quality work and is redoing my wheels at half the cost and would refinish if outcome was less then satisfactory. Images attached below is the work of Iron Whisky…

Iron Whiskey Customs was such a pleasure to work with. They did a great job on my front fender liners that I’ll be coming back to have more work for them to do! Amazing people and would highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing job on my bike parts! And all done correctly the first time. Definitely has the experience of how all parts should be done. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you again!!

Cale takes tons of pride in his work and it really shows. He is super quick to respond to any questions I had and that really helped me being the first time I had ever gotten anything powder coated. I had my calipers and wheels powder coated and they look amazing. One of the wheels powder coat was starting to bubble and he was very quick to respond and get the wheel in to fix it. Overall I would recommend Cale to anyone that is looking to get anything...

How could you say anything bad about the work Cale does? Powdercoating? Paint? He lays it all down smooth as glass. Prices are absolutely fair. And timely! That's one thing you hardly ever see in a painter. Especially one that is this consistently amazing with his finishes. Hope he doesn't retire before I do, because I don't think I'll find anyone that hits the trifecta of amazing work, done in a timely fashion, for a...
