I have recently tried going to midstate on advice about my career and academics with the intent of taking classes there but I have only been disappointed. The employees there seem to not care about you or their job. One of which was a counselor who seemed to not listen and not say much of anything other than ok and uh huh. Stephanie Bender was by far the worst counselor I have ever talked to. If the counselors are that bad I can only imagine how the teachers must be. I have never in my life seen such a lazy staff. Mainly aside from doing everything over a computer and turning in homework ONLINE. I struggled with this part massively because im not sorry im used to handing in a paper hard copy directly to someone face to face! The pathways program is a joke beyond human understanding. I love being a student at MSTC at the Marshfield campus. There are only a few students left in my program (CRC) but they never forget about me and they treat me as an equal. My accomplishments make them happy and when I have an issue they do what they can to resolve it or find a solution that fits. I love the online option for classes but I still feel like I'm going to a real school. The instructors online are very personable and make you feel like you stand out!
