I highly recommend Chelsi and Black Dragon Tattoo to anyone in the local area! I came in to get a piercing done, and the shop was immediately welcoming and friendly! I was greeted right away and welcomed to make myself feel at home while I waited, though there was no wait at all! Chelsi came straight out and immediately made me feel at ease! She had worked with me prior to the appointment, answering my many many crazy questions, and is always friendly and amazing! Today she had prepared a few different options of jewelry that she thought I would like (so sweet!) and even was patient as I went back and forth on colors! She fully explained the process and the aftercare, and really took the time to listen and fully answer any concerns I had. Then we got down to business: she was very careful and attentive, ensuring the proper placement and even talking to me about the underlying anatomical concerns and healing concerns with different placements (so knowledgeable!). Once we had gone over it, she talked me through the whole process as she did it (which made me feel very at ease and excited to see her work!). IT IS AMAZING! She got it EXACTLY RIGHT!!! It is absolutely EVERYTHING I ever wanted, and is placed PERFECTLY on my body! She is an absolute expert, taking time and consideration, and paying attention to my individual body to make sure this piercing is one I am going to love for the rest of my life! My mom, aunt, and grandpa all got memorial tattoos with ashes included in the ink. The second I walked in, it felt magical. The place is beautiful and clean. Then when we were meeting the tattoo artist, we all instantly felt safe and cared for. Throughout the process, she shared with us her condolences and comforted us through the experience. She re-created the signatures and penmanship perfectly. Family has looked at the tattoos and said "Yup, that's her writing." And Tara's beautiful floral designs are incredible. The flowers were beautiful and the dragonfly she did for my aunt is so amazing, we can't stop staring at it. The wings somehow look iridescent. The artwork was just magical. Although I, myself, didn't get a tattoo, the experience all around was emotional, magical, and comforting. Working with Tara really helped my family and I recommend her to anybody looking for a tattoo, whether or not it's for memorial purposes. Tara is an incredibly experienced, professional soul who is absolutely amazing at what she does. The art that she is able to create is timeless, classic, and breathtaking. She knows what is going to look good on different parts of your body, what style of fonts will work with your text, and performs her tattooing in personal and professional manner. I got my first tattoo done by her in 2015, and have since gone back 7 other times, only to her.... as she is the only person that I would trust to tattoo me.
