Dark Island — Local services in Town of Hammond

I toured the castle a few years ago to show my husband where I lived the summer I was 16. Myself along with 4 other teens, my sister being one of the other 4 were hired to clean the Castle and do upkeep of the island.

I enjoyed the tour, but it doesn't show all of the secret passageways. I had hoped to go through them like we did as teens. The castle is such a big part of my youth and I feel so lucky to have experienced living...

I was disappointed. There appears to be no (visible) effort to restore the castle. An example: draperies are the originals but severely faded and falling apart. Same is true of all fabrics on furniture. People are instructed not to sit or touch pieces but there is not much effort to prevent it. Cobwebs everywhere. Poorly maintained...

Amazing place went there and payed 133$ for it and it said we could explode secret passageways and a dungeon that did not happen apparently our group was “Too Big” also with my group mr brother is on the autism scale and someone In are group made a rude complement about him taking time going...
