Customer service and fair pricing is the most important part of the bike shopping experience. I'm from NYC and traveled almost an hour to the Cyclery and I would do it again. I've dealt with my fair share of rude shops (corporate and smaller businesses) with higher prices and pressure to purchase specific products. The Cyclery is not like that, I could tell Effy is an cycling enthusiast running a bike shop aimed at providing great customer service rather than purely profit.
In my opinion, The Cyclery is the best bike shop I've had the pleasure of shopping at. I called (multiple times) a few days in advance to inquire on purchasing a new road bike and spoke to Effy, he was able to answer all my questions and even put the bike on layaway until I could find time to commute up to his shop. When I arrived Effy fitted me to the bike saddle height based on my leg/knee bend angle, and let me test ride the bike around the parking lot. I felt zero pressure of any upselling of accessories or equipment. When asked, Effy provided me with his personal opinion of good and bad accessories and the reasons why one product might be better than the next based on his personal experience as well as referencing various cycling publications. I did end up purchasing the bike and walked away with a lot of knowledge on products that are terrible, and products that are great. Like any savvy shopper, I did do my research based on the information Effy provided me and the pricing of the accessories are priced competitively, if not better. At the end of the day, I would purchase my future accessories from The Cyclery to support a local/small business purely due to how great of customer service Effy provided.

Effy was patient and courteous even though it was obvious that he was really busy. he fixed my flat right away and even pointed out the small holes in my tire to me, asking if I wanted to get a new tire or to keep the old one. he pointed out that my bike was a little big and eitan adjusted my seat making my ride more comfortable. eitan then told me about the gear and pedals I should look into for upgrading my entry level road bike. I was shocked at the level of service I got for just stopping by to look at the store. They are amazing and deserve your business. Read moreI am blown away at the service level I just experienced. This was the first time I bought from Clubhaus and I am so glad I stumbled upon them. I called at 2:30pm on a particular afternoon looking for a saddle that I needed rather urgently. I explained my situation and they had the saddle I wanted in inventory. They said if I placed the order online right away they would try to get it out that same afternoon. Within 30 mins of me placing order, I had a tracking number with a delivery scheduled a day and a half later. I was so impressed by their service in accommodating me in my urgency.
