Although the bartender and patrons were welcoming and friendly, the RV setup sucks royally. They have dry camping parking spots for RVs and trailers. They advertise electric hookups. The 30 amp connections are in the pavilion behind the lodge, but over 30 feet from where we can park your trailer or RV. REALLY! Come on.
Place the power pillars much closer to the asphalt so we can easily connect. I had to go to Plan B when I arrived at 5:30pm on a Monday evening when I realized I would not be able to hookup my travel trailer. I quickly reserved online at the Monroe county campground, which cost me twice as much as I would have paid at the lodge. If the lodge wants to still maintain the long distance to the 30 amp service, then purchase some very long extension chords and ask for a deposit from the traveler so they are returned. This is...
