We drove down from Akron today because my son wanted new work boots. He liked a few and tried them on but they did not have his size. The sales man then proceeded to try and talk him into a pair he was not interested in. MY son then mentioned ordering them on line. The sales person then informed us he was going to have to charge us $20 just for trying them on. We inquired about having them set to the store. The sales man then informed us of a 50% restocking fee if when they came in they were not what he wanted. The only sign we saw was A No Refunds No Exchanges. In this market, I don’t see anyone with that policy, especially, knowing the cost of western wear and willingness to pay.
I simply prefer best business practices- it works for both. Being forced to spend money in a place is not really ok. The other option would be not to patronize.
