Plattekill Falls — Local services in Town of Hunter

Plenty of parking at the Huckleberry trailhead parking lot but very few spots right by the entrance of the waterfall trail. Make sure to follow the do not park signs on the side of the road. The trail to get to the waterfall is very well marked. Just follow the yellow markers. The different species of trees are also marked so it's very informative. Although the waterfall is beautiful, this area is a money trap business for the local police the towing service and the taxi service to the pound, I got charged $75 for a 5 mile drive to pick up my car then charged $450 to get my car get plus a 175 $ ticket.
