Adirondack Lake Cabins — Local services in Town of Indian Lake

We had a fantastic stay! Major gratitude to Cassie and the Adirondack Lake Cabins team.

My group (2 couples, plus 1 dog) was caught with a nearby Airbnb without heat (broken, no quick fix from hosts) on the coldest night of the winter. We came up from the city for a ski weekend and were frantically calling around in need of a place to stay. Cassie delivered excellent service with empathy and understanding, and offered us a range of options to choose from with realistic guidance for what would be comfortable for our group. We stayed in the large cabin (sleeps 10) and had an incredible time. Everything was clean, professional, well prepared, and well supplied.

The commercial kitchen was fantastic and huge, with ample dishware and cooking/baking sheets. If you're cooking your own meals, be prepared to bring your own seasonings/oils as this was not very abundantly stocked, but it will have all the pots and pans you need. The place was very comfortable, warm, and had plenty of space.

One detail to consider for groups of couples is that there is 1 master bedroom, then the rest of the sleeping situations are more friends/kids friendly (1 room with 2 bunkbeds, 1 room that is more like a closet with a full bed), rather than for people who want to sleep 2 in one bed; we ended up pushing the bunkbeds together (lol) for one of the couples.

Close to Gore, perfect location for a ski weekend if you are looking for a place to recover, rest, and be comfortable; be aware that it is right off the highway and close to other cabins, so as others have mentioned, it's not a private escape per se, but a place to rest after a day full of outdoor activity!

We would definitely stay again, and highly recommend :) ...

A Wedding Weekend We’ll Never Forget – Thanks to These Amazing Cabins

We had the absolute pleasure of staying at these cabins for our wedding weekend, and it truly made the entire experience even more special. With family traveling in from out of state, finding a place that could accommodate everyone comfortably was incredibly important to us – and these cabins were perfect in every way.

From the very beginning, Cassie went above and beyond to help us reserve the entire property well in advance. She made the process seamless, was quick to respond to every question, and helped us coordinate every little detail to make sure it all came together. Her warmth and professionalism made planning a big part of our wedding weekend feel effortless.

The cabins themselves are absolutely adorable – beautifully decorated with so much charm, and spotlessly clean. Every space felt cozy, comfortable, and inviting. Our family kept commenting on how nice everything was – from the beds to the porches to the peaceful surroundings. The property had a fun, relaxed vibe that allowed everyone to unwind and connect before and after the wedding.

It meant the world to us to have our loved ones all in one place to share in such a joyful time, and these cabins were the perfect home base for those memories. We truly can’t recommend this place enough – whether you're planning a special event or just looking for a peaceful getaway, you’ll be in the best hands.

Our adventure started with a very last minute search for a location whereby we can possibly see both the Northern lights and the Perseid meteor shower and stumbled upon these cabins. The location was spot-on and the hospitality provided by Cassie was genuine and accommodating. The cabins were right across the street from Adirondack lake with a clear view of the skies. The interior was well appointed, matching its location. While we didn't see the lights (not because of the location but because of mother nature), we did see a spectacular display of meteors, "shooting stars" as the kids call it. We had such an awesome time, we decided to extend our stay and was graciously accommodated even though our request to extend was just as last minute as out decision to visit.
