Islip Academic Center — Local services in Town of Islip

They say icc is the place to be but its really not, its only the opposite of that, the assistant principal is very delusional and doesnt understand common sense, i have a job to get to at 2pm and my bus doesnt get back to the school until 2 so i would be late everyday to work, ive asked for a parking pass but apparently its a privilege to drive there and park and go to work. So i decided to park across the street, no where close to the property line and walk to the class, but nope cant do that either, and assistant principal threatened to tow my vehicle if it was ever seen across the street again and said i would be suspended. ICC advertises itself as “the place to be” yet that statement could not be further from the truth. Instead of addressing situations that require immediate attention this school chooses to sweep them under the rug in an attempt to protect its image. What was supposed to be a place where I could pursue my dreams quickly became a hostile and draining environment. After a year of enduring constant disrespect, high tension, and treatment that felt dehumanizing, I can say with certainty that ICC did nothing to support me or my goals.
