This place is so adorable! They have a small dog area and my puppy loves it! They have a big gated field to run around and play in. The only issue is that some people are very inconsiderate. They will bring their big dogs to the small dog area or drop off their dog and not stay in the area with them. There were 3 big dogs in the small dog area. My dog is 10 lbs and the 3 big dogs were jumping all over him and one was biting at his neck and the owner didn't do anything! I immediately removed my puppy from the situation and left the area. Also there was someone in the big dog area while his dog was in the small dog area, not supervising him at all and his dog was growling at my dog. The sign clearly states that you need to stay in the area with your dog. It's complete BS that people can't follow the rules and this is why other dogs or people get hurt. It's messed up and this is the only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5. So that being said, people are the ones who ruin...

Be forewarned, there is a train that runs just beyond park's edge which might literally scare the poop out of your pup the first time they go as it did mine, but it's infrequent and he hasn't ever paid it heed since. Can get crowded around dinnertime. 5 minutes away from Claws on Montauk in Sayville, best lobster rolls around with an outdoor seating area that...
