Riverside Laundromat — Local services in Town of Jay

This is a really clean, well maintained laundromat. The machines are very new. The only issue we had was that the card readers on the machines were very quirky. They would appear not to read our cards, but in fact they were processing a portion of the fee with each read. The readers would decrement the amount owed, and require a rescan to process the remaining fee. In one case it took 4 or 5 scans of our card to process the whole amount. We will have to check our credit and debit card transactions to make sure the right total was processed. If it weren't for this worrisome behavior, we would clearly...

I wanted to love this place. On the surface it’s clean. But you can smell the machines. They smelled like mold.

I tried every card I have and none of them worked. Had to walk over and get cash from Tops.

Washers are $8. The same size washer in platts in $3. And it doesn’t smell.
