Driven past this place dozens of times and always wanted to stop. Today after a day of skiing at Whiteface, my father and I chose to stop for a drink. As soon as I sat down, the bartender asked for ID. (Indubitably so, I look pretty young) The owner of the bar was sitting at the end and as I was handing my ID over, he disrespectfully stated he does not think I am of age to drink. “You aren’t 21 are you?!” I replied, “Yes I am.” “How old are you then?!” I said “21” and he goes “You are supposed to say you are 23.” This was just a strange and somewhat disrespectful interaction for the first 5 minutes I was there. Dog friendly inside and out! CASH ONLY We were passing through from Michigan and stopped in for Monday happy hour and it did not disappoint. The place was lively, even for a weekday, and we ended up having a blast hanging out with the owner, bartenders, and some friendly locals. Everyone adored our dog (one guy at the bar even had treats for him!). Great vibe, great people, and an awesome happy hour from 3–6....
