had an extremely disappointing experience at this ski rental shop. I was given skis that were improperly sized, which led to a fall and resulted in an injury. When I approached the staff to address the issue, instead of offering assistance, I was met with hostility. The employees, Kailey and John, were particularly rude, reacting with aggression rather than professionalism. They not only dismissed my concerns but also placed the blame on me for the incident. John even escalated the situation further by picking up a hammer and forcibly ejecting us from the store when we were simply trying to resolve the issue. Avoid this shop if you expect reliable customer service. I'd heard that Cunningham's allows customers to demo skis before purchasing that same type of ski, so I called and arranged to do this. I spoke to Tyler on Wednesday, who said he'd bring the skis down to the North Creek shop from Lake Placid on Thursday, so they'd be ready for me to try out at Gore on Friday. When I arrived Friday morning around 9:30am (the time I said I'd be there) I was told Tyler hadn't brought the skis down yet, and he wouldn't be there until later in the day.
