I have lived around the corner from this amazing piece of history for 22 years and I finally had the chance to visit during a day it was open to the public. It was an absolutely amazing experience, not only because of the antiques, replicas and condition of the house, but because of the passion and knowledge of the volunteers. I have seen MS. Swans at Hull House a few years back for another lantern tour and was impressed with her portrayal. I just wish I could remember who...
