Average Joe's Hobby is your one stop shop for just about what ever your heart desires. The owner Mat is one of the best people you can ever meet. Periodically they have celebrity meet and greets right in the store. They have had WWE Hall of Famer Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Former WWE SuperStar Heath Slater. Coming up on October 30th WWE Hall Of Famer The Godfather will be in store for a signing. Then, on Monday November 1st, Scott Schwartz from A Christmas Story and The Toy with Richard Pryor will be in store for a meet and greet.

It's more than a hobby shop though. It's a place where you can come, hang out, and meet interesting people. There is a game room in the back. There is plenty to see. And if there is something that you want or are interested in, don't be afraid to ask the owner. He will be more than happy to keep his eyes peeled.

I grew up with the owner. I previously gave him a 5 star review after one visit. Wanted to show my support. I spent over $200 on that visit and placed a pre-order for a case of figures (also over $200). As of now I was supposed to have the figures over a year ago. The owner just gives me the run around. He always has an excuse and must think I’m a fool. He keeps promising a refund, but it never comes. I think he’s out of business now, but I won’t trust him...

This shop is a gem to the community. I will be a customer forever. I have been craving a hobby store like this for a long time, the owner is very laid back, and has created a space that's comfortable to hang out in, where everyone is welcome. There's a lot of really nice collectibles very reasonably price that span across several "genres" from pokemon, to sports cards, to funkos, wrestling figures to even handmade decked out vests.
