2 days of fun, food and drink. Seems to get busier every year. The ticket prices always go up. But there are more things to do and see. The only thing I disagree with this year was how the birds of prey were confined to little stumps and on a chain. There was no need for the animals to be there and in that condition.

Amazing event, super family friendly. Kids free. Parking free. Really, the best value for a great full day or entire weekend. Guests come from all over the Northeast, and performers from across the continent! The ambiance, reenactments, athletic games, great bands, food I look forward to every year (seriously, don't miss the apple sundaes and the Guinness wings), bagpipe band marches... It keeps going! Souvenirs of every shape & kind, specialty jewelry, bonfire lighting that goes well into the night.

Imagine enjoying a fall evening into the cool night near a great bonfire surrounded by a community of people. Smiles on faces, everyone enjoying their drinks & food, and amazing bands and dancers entertaining... It's a real experience you'll want to make into an annual pilgrimage!

Several years ago as I managed a stage, a tremendous downpour came through. We as volunteers were reminded of the commitment of our audience again. Rather than the crowd suddenly vanishing to their cars, they embraced it, enjoying the festival too much to leave. Friendly faces raced up to help us cover speakers and any more sound equipment as quickly as possible, strangers looked out for each other as everyone packed into tents or pavilions. The band playing at the stage proceeded with an acoustic set, and what could have been awful became a great memory for us all. THAT is Niagara...

Our favorite festival! You don't even have to know what Celtic means. Go for a fun, cheap afternoon outdoors with tons of craft vendors, familiar and new foods, 4 band stages, watch the Celtic games, dance troupes, petting zoo, kid activities, etc. if you love it stay longer (or do a second day) and explore even more (live blacksmithing, classes on Celtic history, bonfires, clan tents). This is a must do every year, it's never disappointed anyone we know just looking for a...

If you go on a hot day there is NO shade, dress accordingly, bring an umbrella or something. There is not enough seating for the amount of people who attend so don't be surprised if you're standing or sitting in the grass sometimes. Not a huge alcoholic beverage variety for people who don't like beer. Vendors were amazing. Everything is very far away from eachother so have your...
