As usual the sales goes well (money going in to dealer), that's where it ends ! the warranty work and service work is far and few between. I purchased a new camper, first trip out no heat, call bring it in three weeks out I said I wanted to use it before then nope canceled our trip lost 50.00. I bring it on the schedule day and was told trouble shoot today see what parts are needed make sure forest river will honor the warranty, call four days later to see if I could pick it up. NOPE they haven't look at it yet. camper being new they should told me to bring it in now, see what they needed then bring it back for repairs. having said all this I have had campers since the 1980's from camping world, Meyers wilkinsin 7'0s etc. and none of them could do service work, or take weeks pick it up to have the same problem. So don't matter who you buy from just have to be lucky and not need warranty or service work period. IN SHORT JUST ANOTHER DEALERSHIP WITH NO SERVICE. to bad amazon don't sell campers, maybe no warranty...
Read moreI went to Wrattens for all my RV needs, been using them since 2013. They used to help me with all my problems, upgrades and regular maintenance and service. I’ve never had any issues until my most recent purchase. I traded up and COVID hit. It seemed like a great idea at the time until it came To honoring the warranty. $60,000 5th wheel plagued with problems and with a limited amount of time to get service done for warranty repair, I couldn’t even get the time of day. Not just that, the company that made it was not available to anyone for almost 9 months. I bought a FRIDAY RV, and it showed. Electrical, plumbing, Roofing and no matter how many messages I left, I’ve never had resolution. Good for me. I’m a full time RVer. My home is on wheels. I’ve done it since I was in the Army… 40 years ago. But now, with this unit literally falling apart around me, do I just need to find another place to lick my wounds being left high and dry or give them another chance and trade in this...
Read moreJust have to mention how great this place is, Hodge’s Legacy RV (update, the part works!!)
I needed a part for our camper’s air conditioner and no one had the part. I stopped at Hodge’s in Adams and spoke with Scott. He said he would have had to order the part, but he didn’t have any idea how long the part would take to come in. He looked around his shop and found the part that I needed. I am about to install the part now, but even if it doesn’t work, I would 100% go back to Hodge’s for parts. In fact, we are most likely going to buy a new camper in a year or two, and this is the very first place I am going to look when it comes time to buy. Scott was fantastic to deal with and there’s not enough good that I can say about the experience I had there. He bent over backwards for us, which doesn’t happen much these days. So to Hodge’s, I...
