My recommendation for them- maybe make sure your employees are up to date and have a basic knowledge of what brands you carry. I don’t expect anyone to know every little detail, but something is better than nothing. But ultimately- employees were pretty much clueless. Also maybe keep your inventory up to date? The system supposedly said they had 3 bags in stock but had none.
My visit should’ve been like 5 minutes and it turned more into 20 minutes. I called ahead of time to see if they carried and had in stock a specific kind of grain for my horse, the employee on the phone said yes, so I drove that way. Upon arrival the employee at the register was polite and worked on cashing me out. He did have a hard time finding this in the system so I showed him pictures of what I was looking for. I felt I was very patient and understanding of him as he said they were short staffed with more employees heading back to college soon. He did find it and proceeded to cash me out. I go around back to pick up this bag and the employees in the warehouse had no idea what they were looking for. I showed them my receipt, they went back to look and proceeded to tell me that they don’t have this grain. OK. Go back in for a refund and ended up exchanging for a different grain- slightly annoyed at this point. Head around back again and they try to give me the wrong grain- completely different brand than what I exchanged for. Very disappointed and annoyed at this point. I corrected them on the brand of grain I had just exchanged for and got attitude from employees, seemingly annoyed that I had more knowledge about what I was looking for than they did.
Maybe my expectations are too high, but very disappointing. Needless to say, I’ll probably only go there for things I can...
Read moreThis review only pertains to the Plant nursery I used to love this plant nursery! The plants were always lovely abundant and meticulously cared for. This is no longer the case actually since last year. Last year the plants were never watered and looked so very sad and neglected. The workers were standing around and playing loud rock music. We all know plants hate rock music frequencies and prefer classical music for growth. The workers were clueless and knew nothing about the plants or the inventory. One thing I do appreciate is the potting soil selection they carry rare varieties that are highly recommended and the workers are always kind in loading the car with soil or mulch requests. This year I tried again. I came back for two plants that I saw the week before that were on the front porch display. I was told they never carried those plants and they did not have them. The worker continued on her phone, did not offer to look for them and basically blew me off. I decided to look for them myself and low and behold there they were next to the plant shed,a large full rack of them! Once again the plants in the nursery all looked neglected and unhealthy . I truly don't think the owner of this store would be pleased with the loss of so many perishable plants and wondering where their profits and customers have gone. Please return this store back to its former glory and spirit of excellence and hire people that actually care about what they...
