Sunshine Icecream — Restaurant in Town of Lysander

Went there on October 7th. Not really prime ice cream season, but I had a hunkering for something sweet. I'm a big fan of the blizzard/flurry choice, and I saw they had one of my favorite hard ice creams available. So, I asked for that flavor in a flurry. The gentleman at the counter told me they didn't have the equipment up to make that selection. ( Which was Canoli Vanilla). Told him that was ok, but really want something with the Canoli flavor. He quickly chimed in and told me with his ice cream making super powers, he could make a Canoli flurry, without using the flavored ice cream. So, I challenged him and told him to work his magic! Well, the kid was no joke! He created the most delicious flurry I've ever had. Just amazing!! He went out of his way and made something for me not on the menu, and took joy doing it. Ice cream is always delicious! When they have a long line they are always through it very quickly. I think the amount of toppings is sometimes a little skimpy for the price most times, but randomly you will get the hook up and it’s amazing. I know costs are high but so are prices, don’t skimp on anything and people will always be back! Picture included of “not skimping” 💕

The owner of Sweet Cindy’s Gluten Free Bakery told me that this place purchases her GF waffle cones…so I went there and they taste 99.9% like a non GF waffle cone. They also have GF cake cones and GF twist ice cream.
