Hannaford — Local services in Town of Malta

My boyfriend and I were shopping today and Morgan working one of the check out lanes told us we could go through her lane (even though it was express) after looking at our cart, I was hesitant to use her lane because I knew it was express but the self check out is also express and there was only 1 other lane open that had a very long line. Morgan proceeded to scan all of our items and basically throw them down the belt to the bagger including our jars of sauce. She scanned our stuff quickly (we really didn’t have too much more than 14 items) and started to angrily bag our items slamming our sauce jars and other items into the bag she was using and pretty much rushing us out. Unless your employees are planning on buying our groceries for us I suggest training them to not treat their shoppers with disrespect. Morgan could have told us no and we would have waited in the other line but we decided it couldn’t hurt to ask if it was okay. The service here is almost always hit or miss and this is just the latest in a long line of their employees being disrespectful. 5/4/2025 I just dropped $240 (TWO HUNDRED AND FORTY!!) in here . I worked hour and a half of my life on just a box of 8 shaving razors. When I go in here to get robbed like that on my precious precious precious precious day off. I have every expectation to not have rush to bag my own groceries and answer every nitpicking question about literally every other item from the person who is supposed to be paid to do that very job, the actual bagger. Secondly while the line of customers pile up and get longer and longer , I have every reasonable expectation for the other person paid to ring me out , the cashier/ scanner to do more than stand there aloof, doing nothing , I expect that person TO PITCH IN! Ive been shopping At hannaford for years,Any Town, or city I go Its got to be Hannaford!!!! their Meat selection,their Fish,shrimp,Pastas, and i make my own sauces, so there canned Tomatoe selection Is all Just Great!, I like their Deli,and Bakery Also Great selection,The Hard Rolls,and and Baked Goods are always Fresh, just an Over all Excellent shopping Experience!
