Iād like to start this review with mentioning that I do not know any of the people from Tomās team personally, only through my familyās experience working with them for many years. Working with Tom Bullock and his staff has been an incredible experience. Iām annoyed that I can only rate them with 5 starts because they really deserve 10. Weāve worked with them for many years now. We started with car insurance that was bundled with our renters insurance (which actually made our premium go down by the way!), and now we have our car insurance bundled with home owners insurance. Admittedly, our rate with State Farm for home owners insurance is slightly higher than what competitors offer, but the quality and promptness of the customer service from Tomās office is so consistent that weāre not willing to switch to another provider to save a small amount of money. Dealing with companies who make you wait on hold forever, go through an automated system to talk to someone, wait weeks for help, are a nightmare compared to the personal touch Tomās team adds. Each time I call, the same staff that has been with them for years answers the phone and helps me promptly. To see the same staff consistently tells you something. I am very difficult to please because having 15 years of customer service experience has left me with 0 patience to tolerate incompetency in the field, but Tom and his team impress me with every interaction I have. Especially their office manager Nicole, sheās so friendly and knowledgeable, she always makes it a great experience. I find myself having to call or email them often to update policies or request information to send to our mortgage lender, etc. They have never once disappointed me, which is shocking because I have little to no patience. Iām really impressed with their office and would absolutely recommend that anyone who wants the best customer service get their State Farm needs through their office. Youāre really missing out if you donāt. The cherry on top of the cake was that they even texted me to say happy birthday on my birthday!! What other insurance company do you know of that provides such a humanizing approach to customer service? None, exactly, now stop reading this review and call Tom to switch to an insurance company that actually cares. I could go on and on about how much I love working with them. Ā Ā Ā Read moreI am so disappointed in this team and would never recommend them. Tom gave us the hard sell when he first called us to join up with him. Once we joined we never heard from him again. Meanwhile, my new teen driver was in two unfortunate car accidents in the first 6 months he had his license. I never heard from Tom once. When we called his staff for guidance they simply said, call the National claims number because we canāt help you. They couldnāt answer even the most basic questions. When we asked about our rates and ways to keep costs down after the accidents, they were no help. When we were concerned about possible issues with our insurance coverage they were no help. Flash forward six months. We get a short and less-than-professional email from Tom - the first time we have heard from him since he gave us the hard sell to join with him - telling us our insurance was being canceled. ALL of us. Not my son with accidents. ALL of us. Even my husband and I who have been driving with no accidents for 30 years. No effort was made to explain this to us. No assistance was offered to help us find new insurance or adjust things to keep some level of coverage. So Tom may be fine if you donāt have any accidents or issues but good luck if you need assistance of any kind. His staff is also the most incompetent group Iāve ever met. I began the daunting task of getting quotes for our vehicles, home and camper. I knew once insurance companies knew I was looking for quotes my phone would begin to ring, and I was right! Grace called me right away, she started the ball rolling. She took all my info and began quoting me insurance on our vehicles, home and camper. I wanted to compare their rates to others and talk with my husband about it and asked if she would email the quotes to me, without hesitation, she sent them to me! That night we decided State Farm would be our new company! I called the next morning and Grace was off, but Gavin was more than willing to help me out! He reviewed the quotes Grace had given me and we tweaked them wheee they need to be tweaked, he answered a million questions I had and really educated me about insurance and how it works!!! He spent so much time with me helping me understand and make the correct decisions for me and my husband! At the end of my call, I felt as though I should have him over for dinner!
