Honeoye Falls Marketplace — Local services in Town of Mendon

This is an update. January 11, 2025 I loaded up my cart with groceries, paid for them, and then pushed my cart out onto the public sidewalk, unaware that I was being followed. It was then, out on the public sidewalk, that I heard my name called. When I turned, I saw a female manager and two very large, mean looking men. I felt very intimidated. The manager told me that I was banned from the store, and showed me a letter to prove it. The letter is dated August 6, 2024. I was in shock. The letter stems from an incident where I was physically assaulted by one of their cashiers. I made numerous complaints, but no one responded. Instead of apologizing to me and firing the cashier, they banned me from the store and never made any attempt to contact me! The very fact that one of their cashiers had used violence on me, and they condoned the violence, made me feel like they might use violence on me in this instance, though the confrontation ended peacefully. And what was the original issue? I explained that I try to avoid shopper club cards, which their cashiers almost insist that a customer use. Honeoye Falls Marketplace is such a special place to shop. They have an amazing selection of products in each department. Many specialty and gourmet products have creative offerings and visual displays. The fresh produce selection is stellar, and there are unique items prepared fresh from the meat department prepared daily which are ready to cook (and with no preservatives) which I love! The bakery and gift/floral departments always provide the freshest and beautifully made items. The store is always clean, well organized, and aesthetically beautiful. All workers are consistently professional, friendly, and efficient. The prices are competitive, and very reasonable which is very nice. I am always so proud and thankful to have such an amazing hometown supermarket that reflects our beautiful, quaint community. I can honestly say I have never had a poor experience in any way at Honeoye Falls Marketplace, which is unheard of for any business, and I spend my fair share of time there trust me! Do not buy from here my husband went here tonite to buy chicken he brought it home I opened it to cook it and it was full of slim I was stuck my two fingers together and apart which was coursing slim string between my two fingers 🤮. Then we went and returned it whatever we go back to the frozen section to get frozen chicken Pattie’s and if you’ve shopped here before you know the raw chicken and chicken Pattie’s are right next to eachother I’m standing back there looking at chicken and another employee comes back puts the chicken I just opened touched and told them it was slimy and puts it back down with the other chicken absolutely foul and I feel so bad for anyone that’s gets sick because of these people they need to be...
