First rate service. The beer is out of this world. We sampled four and loved them all - the sour is 5 out of 5. I liked the Gutter Ball cream ale quite a bit. I had the smash burger and my wife had the fish tacos - both were excellent. I bowled a 48 but I'm pretty sure it's because I suck; the lanes looked well-maintained and everyone else was bowling fine. So, pretty sure I suck.
It was pretty crowded and everyone seemed to be enjoying life.
UPDATE - 2022-09-01
SIX PACKS TO GO!!!! Only two flavors, but I'm very excited! Also they now have taco flights as a mainstay on the menu!
UPDATE 2022-11-17
Food still as good as ever. I wish they sold the seasoning they put in their fries by the jar. It's sooooo good. I'm also happy to report that I've tried every beer as they get rotated onto the menu. THEY'RE ALL DELICIOUS!!!!
UPDATE 2023-08-19
The outside seating has really amped up! The area is all fenced in now, sun sails have been raised, bistro lights installed, and more tables have been added. They have live music one or two days a week, too. Food is still awesome - menu has been tweaked a few times (for the better). Shrimp tacos are now a permanent fixture. Veggie burger is great. The chicken tenders and fries is now a meal - the best chicken tenders I've ever had!

Read moreBrews, bowling and great people. We visited Rochester during the first week of the Lilac Festival and were looking to hit a few breweries. The drive south of the city was well worth it! We ended up going on back-to-back days. The venue is split between the lanes and the bar/dining area with some tables outside and plenty of parking. The owners were kind enough to show up around when they saw us looking at the different murals and framed pictures on the walls. The art and decor have many local connections, even the bar seats have plaques showing the different donors both from the Rochester and other areas where the owners have made their mark. The beers were all true to their styles and delicious. The standout for me on draft was Set Change, although the Cream Ale was an excellent starter each day. We ordered the chicken fingers and fries for food. The fingers were crispy and great with the sauces. The fries were seasoned in a cajunesque manner and were fantastic in the burger sauce. Despite not bowling in many years and most of my history being candlepin, it was still a blast. I highly encourage anyone stopping by the city to make a visit to Okay Beer Co. They are keeping a community staple alive and added a brewery portion to replace one that closed just down the street. Be warned, if you haven't bowled in a while, you will be sore in a few places...
Read moreIf you have young kids, this is NOT the place to go. We had a reservation at 6:00, at 7:50 we were made aware that we would need to be done by 8:00. This “two hour reservation time” was never communicated to us when booking or upon arrival. It is also not mentioned on their website. We were 2 frames into our second game with two kids and 4 adults when we were told we had to wrap it up. $72 for 6 people to play 1 round?! Ridiculous. When we explained to the owner that we were never told about this time constraint, he basically said oh well .. sorry. Also said “sorry you have kids that Bowl slow…”, well, they would’ve probably been quicker had you had enough ramps to accommodate your customers.. 🤷🏼♀️ He also made some comment about us wanting our games paid for… no sir money wasn’t the issue, is was yours and your staffs lack of communication. The fact that they didn’t even offer for us to finish our second game told us a lot; the owners arrogant attitude was just the icing in the cake. We will not be back. Livingston lanes is...
