It is unbelievable to be back here again this year. Any time here is too short. Alex is amazing and has obviously got a handle on cultivating the beautiful natural environment and balancing stewardship and beauty. His new construction efforts are spot on. The new toilet facilities keep the character of the original and with thoughtful construction techniques and material choices ensure this version will not be disposable. Paper holders spares rolls all in water proof housing!!

Please upgrade the latches. They are very difficult for those with hand issues to use.

Also maybe a 3'x3' platform outside the large stall, but it might even get a gravel ramp up to it. Not thinking wheelchair accessible but easier.

Heaven on Earth. The land is seeped in positive energy from all of the spiritual work that has been done here going back to the Shackers (and most likely beyond them.) The Sufi community that are the current caretakers are wonderful hosts (don't fret about the vegetarian menu, it's really good food.) The various shrines, walking paths, camping spots are well maintained and clean. I'm looking forward to...

Absolutely amazing views on the mountain campus, excellent meals curated by trained chefs. This retreat feels like a well-kept secret, but you'd be surprised to hear how many people from around the world have connected with The Abode. All my experiences here have been enchanting and rejuvinating and I could not recommend a visit...
