Have you been to the Market lately? If you have, you already know how wonderful it is. If you haven’t, you’re missing out! Our farmer neighbors and friends are growing things for us: hyper-local produce, eggs, meats, and prepared foods are waiting for you at the store.
The new summer hours are 9-7 every day, they’re even open most holidays!
There’s also food from away; no one is growing bananas or coffee here. Almost all the produce is organic. Super fresh fish every Friday, fantastic cheeses from near and far, this week, treat yourself to local strawberries, you’ll remember how they’re really supposed to smell and taste…
I believe in the importance of local food being available locally. To help them keep prices down, I’m also a volunteer. Looking forward to seeing you there!

———————————————- Do yourself a favor and check out this year round indoor market! They’re open 7 days a week, and always have lots of fantastic local produce and prepared foods. Most of the produce is organic, many in-town and nearby farms are represented. Get your food where it is grown, while also supporting local farmers so they can spend their time farming, instead of selling. To keep prices down, the market is mostly staffed with volunteers. With gas so high, don’t drive to a big-box store before looking here. Fun fact, the recently restored market building was the town’s general store...
Read moreReally nice to see this market in New Lebanon. It’s great to get fresh food from local farmers without having to wait for a particular day of the week. It is a small market, but it is growing and there’s a nice collection of dried, frozen, and canned goods. I also know the stores is intended to support local farmers and businesses. there’s a certain color of price tag in the store that represents local products, and those are marked up less than non-local goods, which have a different color of tag.
They also have baked goods delivered at different days of the week as well as local chefs, providing fresh hot lunches and dinners on certain days of the week. I have seen sushi, Thai food, Indian food, and fried chicken to name a few.
As a bonus it is in a town where there is basically no other fresh food available for a considerable radius so it’s something that the community has been needing for sure.
The owners and staff are friendly, and I always walk out of there with a nice collection of fresh organic local produce (among...
Read moreIn incredible store stocked with a surprising amount of variety for a small, local market. While the walk in cooler filled with fresh, local fruits and veggies is my favorite, the shelves have everything from flour to hot sauce, superior tomato products, and a great selection of eco friendly cleaning and hygiene goods. Some of my favorite products are the Daughter's Dumplings from the freezer, Eleanor's (actual human who lives in town and makes amazing food) homemade mac-n-cheese, and Bartlett House croissants and cardamom buns. Those three things alone are a worth a visit. Lastly, the staff is super. They will call to confirm ingredients in their products and always ring you up with a smile. I cannot say enough good things about our...
