So a friend of ours referred us here a few years ago and we started taking our cars here and good experiences, until this past time. We took it down to Taylor's where he checked over the car at no charge and told me that I needed about $2,000 worth of work. Did not have the money at that time so a family member of mine was going to do the work, so we went out and bought everything that we needed and come to find out our family member could not lift my car that high without a jack stand. My fiance called down and spoke to Adam about doing the work with the parts we had, he said that he would do it for $600. Perfect! Well we take the car down there and Adam and his crew start to work on it and next thing we know, he says "I know that I quoted you $800 but this needs more time and work, so it will end up being about 1300." He does the work and gets paid. The next day I knew something was off and something sounded loose so we called him, took the car back down, had the work done, PLUS a wheel bearing that costed another $320. We pay him and go on our way. A few days pass and I have issues with the alignment that was supposed to be done. My fiance calls over to Wentworth who supposedly did the alignment and come to find out, they only checked the tow. Well I have an all wheel drive car and it needed a 4 wheel alignment being that i put 4 brand new tires on. We try to call Adam but he sends us right to voicemail and we leave a message. My fiancé then has work done on his vehicle and was told one thing but since Adam didn't think that it needed what my fiancé thought, he did the bare minimum. Next thing we know, his car is acting up too. We called the office and left messages, had his employees relay messages, tried reaching out on his personal number, and sent him messages, BUT NO RESPONSE. I needed my car checked because there was so many noises from the work he did that I was not happy and ended up taking it to Mavis in Dansville, where I spent another $1000 due to it needed to be oiled down, and things tightened, and AN ALIGNMENT that NEVER got done. I tried calling Adam again about this and wanting to talk to him about this situation and that I should get some money back since my kids ride in that vehicle a majority of the time and if something happened because of carelessness and not wanting to fix it, I would have lawyered up and sued him. I will no longer be taking my business to Taylor's Automotive since I have shucked out a ton of money when quoted one things and got charged double and the customer service is terrible. But recently I had an appointment to have 2 new tires put on and when I arrived he told me that because of the bad weather, the tires hadn't been delivered. I drove down in crappy weather for nothing. Ok, so I rescheduled for a few days later. Before I left that morning, I called to make sure the tires were there and Adam said yes and confirmed my appointment.
