Our family has been a part of the Buckley Day Camp community for years, and I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible impact it has had on my children. Both of my kids have been attending camp since they were toddlers—my oldest since he was 2 and my youngest since she was 3. Now they're ages 8 and 5 years old —and we’ve seen them blossom in ways we never imagined.

For my oldest, who faced some developmental delays, Buckley played a pivotal role in helping him overcome those challenges. The camp not only supported his growth but also instilled a newfound sense of confidence and creativity in him. The activities, the caring staff, and the fun environment gave him the tools he needed to thrive. Watching him flourish over the years has been an absolute joy, and I know Buckley has been a huge part of that success.

As for my youngest, she has always been incredibly shy, but camp has been her place to shine. At Buckley, her confidence grows every day, and she excels in a way that we rarely see elsewhere. My daughter has been going to camp here for four years, since she was 2, and I can sincerely say that it is the part of the year she looks forward to the most - she is counting down the days until Summer 2025. My husband and I joke that she will never want to leave camp and end up working there as an adult! She loves camp so much from the director, counselors/group leaders, lifeguards to the programming and special events.

Everyone goes above and beyond to make sure your child is having an amazing summer and I am truly grateful. Camp made her a more confident child and given her an opportunity to try new things and make new friends outside of school.
