I only knew I was being brought here for a surprise because the staff texted my cell number 4 days ago. Upon check in at 3:30pm we went into our suite to get ready for our 80 min massage to find the air conditioning was working but boxed in. They had two stand up fans pushing air around.
We wanted a snack however no snacks available. Only food is available 7-1 and 5-10. We unpacked and made our way to the spa.
I specifically asked for the masseuse to work on my legs and feet. On my back watching the time she spent 5 mins on each leg and 2 on each foot. $500 later for a couples massage.
Before we went in for massages we proactively placed an order for One ribeye steak with mac and cheese and French fries. A charcuterie board (a meal for us to split ) to be delivered to my suite at 645 pm. At 630pm I had a voice mail on my cell phone that my food I ordered for room service (their restaurant) was at the front desk. Calling down there unexplained I was at my room and my meal should not be in a bag we ordered room service.
Shrimp cocktail (we asked for sautƩd garlic shrimp with the steak )
$161.00 dollars later. I will add they put a charcuterie board and bottle of wine in my room despite the do not disturb on my door.
Itās now 5:00 am coffee machine is broken and I feel like Iām at motel 6.
This used to be a get away from Rochester. Now itās Motel 6 on steroids.
Extremely disappointing and uncomfortable. Let me add thereās no cell service and WiFi is awful.

I called the āOwner ā and there was no success to talk to the āHotel Manager ā.
For the money Iāll be at Bellehurst / Harborview. Woodcliff has lost all...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreNice massage therapist. Otherwise, the Woodcliff is no longer worth the money. Tranquility room is beautiful yes, but massage room was sterile & no style (it looked like a doctor's office). When I stepped out of my room post-massage, I had to find my way to the tranquility room & get my own water. Iāve never had an experience where the therapist wasnāt waiting upon completion of the massage to see how I was (at the door to guide me on) with at least a water, & it had only been 3 minutes since he stepped out. There was a group of 4 women who were loud in the tranquility room, which defeats the purpose of the room. I also had to wait about 5 minutes to check in while the host was securing a reservation on the phone. I understand being busy, but an in-person guest should at least be greeted, āIāll be right with you,ā or something to that effect. The locker room had dirty dishes from the tranquility room, and the light bulbs were burned out in the sauna. When I was ready to check out, there was no one in sight, so I had to leave a note. For a $165 50-minute massage this lack of care is unacceptable. There are plenty of other upscale spas in the area that feel like money well spent. I will be going elsewhere from now on. UPDATE: Spa manager returned my call, apologized & offered me points towards...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhat a way to start the New Year! I came here with my Best friend on New Years Eve day & it really put us in a relaxing mode. Just fyi we did make Reservations a week an a half before because this place can get booked. We both opted for the Tranquility Massage for 50mins. With Matthew and Bobby. I had Matthew & I've never had a male before, but he made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire experience. I've been to some really nice Spa before but this was the 1st one that they had the heating pad on the table, which was a nice touch. The music was calming and Matthew made sure I was okay with the pressure right from the beginning. after the massage we enjoyed the Stream room as well as the lounge where they have tea an snacks. The views from the tranquility room are amazing so I could only imagine what it's like in the Summer or even early fall. Overall this was a great Spa experience that I would recommend and would...
