It’s hard to find where to begin with how great these guys were. I had been in the event production business for close to 20 years and left doing it professionally about two years ago. I’ve had tons of experience with vendors in the area, and most of the time it’s more of the same… They dump the gear on you and leave, half of it is broken or incomplete with missing components, and when you call to rectify the situation you get ignored or blamed. These guys were punctual, on time to the minute. Equipment was new, well-maintained, well organized, and all in cases. The gentleman that came to do the set up were very cordial, polite, and helpful. They set up a pristinely clean movie screen and adapted it to fit a room with a low ceiling height while still maintaining a maximum size image. They stuck around well past when they could have left to ensure that the image was properly focused and the client was happy. When I changed the load out time on them last minute to close to two hours earlier, they didn’t complain at all. They simply said “OK sounds good. We’ll see you when it’s over!” And showed up to load out 15 minutes early. They had their equipment packed up and out of there in 20 minutes, and were very respectful of a band that was setting up feet away from them. Oh, and I forgot to mention, when speaker stands and speaker cable was stolen from my truck the night before, they graciously added a pair of stands and ample speakon cable at no extra charge. If I could leave 10 stars, I would. The level of professionalism, attention to detail, and paramount customer service made the event far less stressful than otherwise would have been. Any time I come out of retirement and do events in the future, I will be using HVAV without question....

As a fellow vendor, over the years I’ve never had any problems with HVAV, I booked last minute rental pick up and then sent a message stating I wouldn’t be able to pick up because the event was cancelled. Whether they received the message is neither here nor there, but to block my number from a business line with no context or explanation to it is insane! It’s not like I defaulted on payments or gave a real reason to deserve this. I have plenty of events coming up and I guess I’ll be needing to reach out to a different vendor because I was not given an explanation nor was I told that they didn’t want to do business...

I used Hudson Valley AV for a recent virtual meeting event. I was able to book over the phone, they setup exactly what I needed and were super courteous when I made a last minute date change. They answer the phone, they answer their email, the offer great service, their rates were very fair. The best part about my experience was the end result- the people we were connected with thought we had in-person technology/ video going. We did not- the setup and technology was user friendly and looked very professional! Thank you...
