Never had any issues until we got duped by someone placing over the phone orders. Was never told or taught what to do to avoid being scammed on phone orders. Because i keyed in the entries i was held responsible. The threats and lies started immediately after we realized that we were going to be hit with charge backs. They reset our processing that they took 100% of any transactions that we did after that point. Then they tried to make us take some bogus loan that would have took forever to pay back. So we stopped processing cards. They treated us like we were the criminals. The risk manager that we had to deal with was a liar. He would say one thing and he forgot i had the text and emails of what he said he would do.long story short make sure you do your own due diligence to make sure you don't get ripped off because this company will not support you. They make you jump through so many hoops and still find an excuse not to close the account. We took a while to find time to drive 1.5hrs to drop off the equipment and they literally would NOT accept the equipment because the paperwork was outdated (understand: you took more than 30 days to drop it off). The amount of frustration with this company is unimaginable. The reason we decided to CANCEL OUR agreement with them is that although our processing fee was supposed to be 1.59% according to our contract, between all the other charges and subcharges that noone at the company was ever able to justify, we ended up paying them anywhere just over 4% of the processed amount. If I could give zero stars, I would. Electronic Payments is an absolute joke of a company. Their customer service is beyond awful—unresponsive, unhelpful, and completely disorganized. Every time I reached out for assistance, I was met with long wait times, clueless representatives, and empty promises.
To make things worse, we closed our account, yet they kept charging us! Despite multiple attempts to get an explanation and a refund, we’ve been given no answers—just more runarounds. It’s clear they don’t care about their customers, only about taking money they’re not entitled to.
Save yourself the headache and go with a reliable payment processing company. Electronic Payments is not worth your time or money....
