i went to the store about a month ago to purchase a bottle of oil that was supposedly supposed to reduce and heal my piercing bump. It was such a small bottle for 6 dollars btw and it was just jojoba oil. However, this only made things worse and when I did research and contacted other piercings places i realized this is not safe for piercings at all and can actually trap bacteria that can culture infections. I just wanted to let you all know that this is definitely not a safe and suitable option to market as a solution to piercing bumps and actually caused more damage to my ear. Edit: As a professional you should research your products before marketing something that can significantly damage a piercing and lead to infection. I think this response is unprofessional as I simply wanted to inform people that the products you sold as a professional were not only unprofessional but completely unsafe. I also wrote this review before calling but still stand by everything I said. Not only this, but I had my nose pierced a few months ago and It has never healed because of the angle it was pierced at an improper jewelry provided by this establishment. Please be careful where you go for a piercing because I am left with permanent scarring and damage from this experience. Originally this was just constructive feedback but with your unfriendly response I am choosing to shed light on your unsafe piercings practices. It is not okay to recommend YOUR product if it’s unsafe, and simply saying you are making new products doesnt change the fact that you sold products that were not safe to use. With a simple search online and speaking with a reputable piercer It immediately came to light that the product you were selling is unsafe to use for piercings so I’m not sure why it was being sold at all and selling new products doesnt change the fact that the products you sold before can cause infection and permanent damage. When I spoke with this person on the phone her response was that the oil “worked for her” and that it was no longer being sold… I just felt as though this was invalidating as a customer and I was simply trying to give feedback based on a reputable...
Read moreI came in to get a tattoo and they said they had a 2 for $200 deal. I ended up doing that, but when I did I was NOT informed that an apprentice would be doing the tattoos. They did alright even though one they did is not symmetrical at all. One of my tattoos started to get infected because looking back the conditions were not sterile and the artist was touching all kinds of things and not putting on fresh gloves. Essentially the owner blamed me and not the artist of course and said I was cleaning it wrong. I wasn’t, especially since the second tattoo was totally fine and I’ve had other tattoos and used the same aftercare with no issue. They weren’t touching everything in the shop for the second tattoo which is why I think that one had no issues. Thank god I ended up catching the infection before it got bad. I’ve looked at the piercings that their piercer does and the jewelry is always way to big for the piercing. I would never let their piercer touch me and I definitely will not be returning for any tattoos. Also..what’s with the price plus tax for piercings? That isn’t necessary unless you are getting pierced in NYC. And all the products they sell for aftercare are so overpriced! Order them beforehand so you have everything you need and don’t have to pay double...
Read moreThese people deserve much less than one star, they’re horrible, unprofessional, and just plain unsanitary. I tried to get a tattoo of Jimi Hendrix’s signature on my right forearm, I showed them the design and they laughed and said “that’s it? you weak” it was my very first tattoo and they laughed at me. They gave me a very unprofessional artist, she did not know what she was doing at all, on top of that she was very disrespectful, mocking me as I was in pain, the needle she used wasn’t even clean, I told her to please change the needle. She then got the owner involved. I though he was going to reprimand her but instead he yelled at me. When I tried to tell him what’s going on, he kicked me out with giving me my money back. When I asked for my money back, he got the other staff and customers to gang up on me and threaten me to get out. They caused my arm to get infected with no aftercare at all. This is the most unprofessional experience I ever been through, if your looking to get a new tattoo done, please avoid this place...
