Vera's Clearance Center — Local services in Town of Rock

Today, I stopped by the Clearance center to see what might fit the vision I had for my wedding day. Cindy greeted me as soon as I walked in and asked lots of great questions to help me find dresses to try on. We flew through the 5 I originally chose and then she kept brining others, based on our learnings from each dress. Lucky for me, Kate was also able to assist us in zipping me up, fluffing the dress, and taking front and back photos of me in the dress. What great people, who were passionate about listening and helping me find the perfect style. The atmosphere was relaxed, lots of dresses to choose from, and organized by size. I was also very happy that they provide full length mirrors in the fitting rooms. This was the 3rd bridal shop I stopped at, with the latter forcing me to come out of the room to see myself. I was at Vera's last weekend on the off chance that I would find a dress to wear to my son's wedding. Bobby Jo was a great help and treated me like a princess. I found the perfect dress and Vera herself was there and helped make the dress extremely affordable for me. Some of the dresses are ready to wear but the one I purchased needed some repairs that I was able to take care of myself, like some missing beads and a couple of snags on the waistline that I was able to camouflage. But getting a $400+ dress (yes, I looked online and could not find this dress for less than that) for less than $75 was an incredible find. I came here three times: twice to look at dresses, and once to get my veil. The employees here are super sweet and not pushy at all, so if you’re more of an independent wedding gown shopper like me, you’ll feel really comfortable here. They have a great selection, and bring in new dresses from time to time, so don’t be afraid to check back. I got my veil for 90% off, and it was gorgeous!
