Hillman's Store — Local services in Town of Round Lake

I’ve been going here for years. It’s a trip back in time where you had to walk through a cloud of second hand smoke to grab an over priced item from dirty shelves. For years the vintage 1960s gas pump has problem after problem and was never fixed.

I heard that got a new owner and noticed they now have a brand new pump…. Which they are making everyone pay for.

Awesome to finally have a working gas pump paying almost double what it costs in town.

If this is a sign of the changes from the new owners, I think I won’t both...

This place is chalk full of history and really feels like you've jumped back into time (70s/80s). There is a small selection of items (most of which appear plucked from a bug box retailer and then are resold). Prices are high, including on gas, but then again, shopping here saves you an hour round trip to town and a couple gallons of gas.
