Big M Supermarket — Local services in Town of Sanford

Really aloof, unwelcoming staff, no greeting, no help. They dump all the heated food at before 630 in a giant bin, right before dinner time. Asked the worker why, said it was too early they knew but they cant get out quicker. What a waste of food everyday, in the rubbish pile. Again, unhelpful, unfriendly managers and usually the kids at the checkout or nice at least. Avocados were all rotten in the pile, the mushrooms all old. Things past date. I heard Big M supermarket is a local treasure, it's been around since the 1960s, It's fairly small with a few check-out lanes and a small aisle, and the prices are pretty high, quick buys.only, I wouldn't really recommend this place for daily shopping if you have a big family, even though the selection is nice, isn't as diverse as the leading competitors. Needs big upgrades and some competition from professional food chains to give better quality foods and prices. The Town of Deposit NY definitely deserves that with so many veterans, retirees, and young families in the area. Time to improve the town for all the town residents...
