Even after you think you've seen everything of interest, I can almost guarantee something else wondrous will catch your eye. Always friendly and very knowledgeable, John is very easy and engaging to talk to and he has cultivated an incredibly cozy atmosphere. All this on top of the lowest prices for rare and gorgeous stones and oddities I've ever seen. Fair and reasonable pricing doesn't do justice to the great prices I've found at Sticks N' Stones. Sticks and stones is an epicurean delight! Located smack dab in the middle of town, on Lawyers Row, it is a tiny gem that sparkles on the street year round. The owner, John, takes great pride in the decor and presentation of each item for sale, as if each has its own place in the cosmos. You will find gems, stones, books, art, international pieces, carvings, collectables, incense and lighting. John is an expert at reading his clients wants and needs, and can suggest just the right thing you are looking for. If he cant, he will point you in the right direction. Best precious gem store I have been to. The owner was beyond amazing and super friendly. The environment and selection was impeccable I could not leave. Best of all is that the owner made us feel more like family and even encouraged small kids to explore and touch the stones and crystals in his store. He fielded all of our questions even the kids silly ones with happy enthusiasm. I will be going back to this store as often as I can and I recommend it especially for new enthusiasts as the owner will only amplify your interest.
