The Store — Local services in Town of Schodack

This is by far the worst deli I've ever been to. It is not clean inside, and I am referring to both the kitchen area as well as the rest of the store. As we were watching our sandwiches being made, we slowly started to realize that we should probably just leave. Nothing behind the counter looked fresh, and there were tons of flies in the area where the food was being prepared. Needless to say, our food went straight to the garbage. My boyfriend wouldn't even take one bite of his because his bacon was gray, and I attempted to take a bite of my sandwich and immediately had to spit it out. I had the worst taste in my mouth for about an hour afterwards until I got to my toothbrush. I hate leaving bad reviews, but I felt this was necessary because I don't want anyone to get sick after eating at this deli....

So happy to have The Store back open on Main Street in the Village!

New owners are very friendly.

Chicken wings, beef pattie burgers, egg sandwiches, sub sandwiches, and pizza are super tasty and fresh! Prices are very fair also!

The dining area, windows, doors, floors, coolers, and exterior property are all very clean and tidy.

Many snacks and drinks are available along with many household items. And, big bags of ice at a great price. I also did see that they sell night crawler worms for fishing!

I heard they are going to have a grand opening celebration in calibration with the Main Street Association on Saturday, October 19th.

Warning. These people hired me to design their menu. We went through the entire process and were going to print them as well. They paid me exactly $0 for the work they agreed to. I contacted them to pay me for the design work that was completed as they decided not to print at that time. They have not responded to me AT ALL. They did not return my emails or phone calls and I could not get through to them through The Store phone as well.
